Classic-Contemporary Mix
The owners of a traditional, single-story bungalow needed more space for modern living, while also wanting to preserve the classic character that had originally drawn them to their home and neighborhood. The solution was to raise the existing house up a full 18 feet, and build a new, enlarged main level and basement below. The result is a spacious, light-filled home that thoughtfully mixes a classic vocabulary with contemporary styling and detailing, and still feels at home in its surroundings.
