Sitting atop a beautiful lakeshore property, Mission West engages daily lake life through expansive views and seamless indoor/outdoor connections throughout. The house stretches along the shoreline, allowing the entire home to feel closely tied to the water. Simple, expansive roof planes cap a series of projected forms that shift and recede along the elongated footprint to create connected and complementary outdoor spaces - reaching toward the south light and dramatic west-facing sunsets. These forms are reinforced through rich shiplap cedar cladding and soffits, weathered panels, carefully articulated steel elements, and expansive glass.

Along the Water
“We designed Mission West with a simple concept at its core. That was to extend the footprint of the house parallel with the shoreline to maximize views and interaction with the water from as many spaces as possible.”
